Project Overview

Primo Group Services completed a comprehensive audiovisual and lighting upgrade at Mount Terry Public School, modernising key presentation and learning spaces to better support assemblies, performances, and daily teaching. The scope included a new central TV system with multiple displays, upgraded audio routing, LED stage lighting replacement, network integration, and refreshed AV infrastructure across the site. The focus was on delivering a user-friendly, robust, and scalable system that aligns with DOE requirements and enhances the school’s capability across all events.

Outcome

The completed upgrade delivers a fully integrated, intuitive, and high-performing AV environment. A new 86-inch central display, supported by additional hall-mounted TVs and a 4×4 HDMI matrix, enables flexible single- or multi-screen control for events of any size. A programmed control system allows staff to operate all displays with one touch, simplifying assemblies and presentations.

The audio system was rebuilt around a new digital mixer with HDMI and Bluetooth functionality, improving clarity and reliability while reusing existing microphones and speakers for efficiency. Stage lighting was modernised with new LED panels and energy-efficient static wash fixtures, providing clean, consistent illumination and DMX-controlled performance lighting.

Enhanced Cat6 network cabling connects the hall to the school server room, ensuring all AV components operate within the school’s managed AV VLAN for remote support and future expansion. The result is a modern, dependable, and scalable system that elevates school events and creates a more engaging learning environment for students and staff.
